Dreams Resorts Opens 5 New Resorts in December

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. As a Dreams Resorts & Spa Specialist I am

very pleased to announce the newest Dreams Resorts & Spa Properties.

Dreams Villamagna Nuevo Vallarta will open on December 1 with the majority of facilities

ready for guests. Five of the six gourmet restaurants and all five bars including the unique rooftop sushi restaurant and lounge; Gohan will be ready on time. The Spa will open one week

later on December 8th. During the first week spa treatments will be available at other locations in the resort. The El Patio Mexican Restaurant will open December 20th.

Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa will open on December 1st. This is a newly renovated

property which includes six gourmet restaurants, four bars and the Dreams Spa by Pevonia.

Dreams Huatulco Resort & Spa is also set to open on December 1st. All Services and ammenities will be available except for the following:

Himitsu Restaurant, the spa, fitness center and the theatre will open on February 1, 2009

Alternate arrangements have been made to accomodate all guests until this date.

The official rebranding of Dreams La Romana Resort & Spa will occur on December 10th.

Facilities have been completely enhanced with the addition of several new restaurants, new bars and lounges, a preferred club, core zone and more. The convention center is in the final stages

and will be ready by February 15, 2009

Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana will open on December 10th. Guests will be able to take advantage of all the new facilities, which include a brand new pool, the addition of several new

restaurants, a preferred club and an on site casino. The area of the resort that houses the core zone and Convention Center is nearing completion and will open soon.

Free Room Nights at Select Vegas Properties

With the economy sputtering and Las Vegas tourism in decline, casinos are getting both creative and affordable in an effort to fill up their rooms. The vast majority of hotels are offering lower prices than usual this December and January, and some have even offered a free night’s stay if you book at least two nights minimum.

MGM Grand, Bellagio, the Rio, and Imperial Palace are four of the hotels that are offering a free room if you book at least two nights, though the latter two require that the free day be a Tuesday, and they technically charge $0.02 to fulfill and publicize their “Two-cent Tuesdays” promotion.

Other casinos feature a wide range of promotions that include golf outings, spa treatments, show tickets, and dinner reservations.

Mandalay Bay has an “Exotic Escape” promotion that lasts until Jan. 6, where guests get a guaranteed mid-week suite upgrade, two-for-one admission to the musical Mamma Mia, two-for-one to the House of Blues for either breakfast or lunch, as well as hotel credit for $99 a night.

Planet Hollywood gives special discounts to members of the armed forces, and low rates for everyone else — starting at $69 on weekdays and $119 on weekends

Southwest Adds more flights for Inauguration

Following a record voter turnout, demand is high to attend the inaugural celebration. To meet the increased demand in key cities, Southwest Airlines is adding 26 total flights into and out of both Baltimore/Washington and Washington Dulles between Jan. 17, 2009, and Jan. 23, 2009.

Continental Airlines names Best Domestic Airline

Continental Airlines has won the Best Domestic Airline title in the2008 Airline survey by Zagat.
Continental also won for Best Frequent Flyer Program, Best value for the money (International), and Best Airline Website.

JetBlue Airways took top honors for customer satisfaction in economy class, beating second-ranked Southwest and third-ranked Continental.

Southwest was honored for offering the best value on domestic flights as well as its frequent-flier program, luggage policy and on-time performance.
Upstart Virgin America was recognized as the best mid-size premium-class carrier.
